Here at Roberts Homes Care we pride ourselves on the quality of our food so much so that all of our meat is reared by us locally with the exception of the chicken used in our meals. The rest of our materials are sourced locally wherever possible, including from our own vegetable gardens. We also encourage our residents to get involved with feeding our pigs and livestock and planting vegetables etc.
We have been assessed by Flintshire County Council who are part of the National Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, which is run by the Food Standards Agency. Their food safety officers inspect takeaways, restaurants, pubs and clubs, and give them a score from 0 to 5 for the standard of food hygiene.
Valley View Day Centre achieved a food hygiene rating of 5, which is the highest standard of food hygiene.
